Ms Moufida ROMDHANE GUEDMA is a public services adviser, Head of Unit with the rank of Director General of Studies and Tax Legislation at the Ministry of Finance. A graduate of the Institut Supérieur de Gestion, she went on to complete a two-year postgraduate course at ENA in Tunis and a training course for financial services inspectors in Clermont Ferrand, France. She has had a 28-year career in the Tunisian tax administration, holding positions of responsibility in local taxation, various taxes and Para fiscality. She has contributed to the drafting of the main texts in force relating to local and environmental taxation and eco-taxes, prepares the annual finance bill in these areas and continues to disseminate the relevant administrative tax doctrine. It has initiated several reform projects in this area in collaboration with national and international bodies, such as the revision of the law on investment, the project to simplify tax and customs procedures, the tax reform project, the project to support decentralisation and the financing of local authorities, etc. She is a trainer and trainer of tax trainers, Ministry of Finance executives and public company executives.
