Ms Jihene Gasmi graduated in Legal Sciences with a Master's degree from the Tunis Faculty of Legal, Political and Social Sciences in June 2005, and also holds a University Diploma in Legal Sciences awarded in June 2003. She continued her studies with success, obtaining the Diplôme de Fin d'Études du Cycle Supérieur from the École Nationale d'Administration in January 2010, marking her academic excellence. Enriching her professional career, she completed the International Academy of Good Governance Training Diploma at the École Nationale d'Administration in 2020, demonstrating her commitment to continuous improvement and development. Ms Gasmi holds the rank of Public Services Adviser (A1) and has accumulated a wealth of professional experience in the public sector. She has held various positions of responsibility, including Head of Department and Deputy Director at the General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sport from 2010 to 2015. She has also held the role of Deputy Director in the office of the Minister for Relations with Constitutional Bodies and Civil Society. Her commitment to public service continued with responsibilities such as Chargée de mission at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sport (from April 2018 to September 2018) and Director of Legal Affairs at the same ministry (from September 2018 to April 2020). Ms Gasmi has also held the position of Director General in the office of the Minister for Women, the Family and Senior Citizens, where she was responsible for administrative reform and good governance. She was Director General of legislation, studies and international commitments in the maritime field at the General Secretariat for Maritime Affairs of the Presidency of the Government. She currently holds the position of Director General, Head of the National Coordination Unit on Climate Change, illustrating her ongoing commitment to administrative and governmental matters.
