Mr. Kais Mejri is CEO of Industrial Estate Agency. He has held a number of senior positions at the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines, and Trade: he has successively headed the Directorate of Legal Affairs and Litigation, the Directorate General of Common Services and the Directorate General of Governance, and the Directorate General of Innovation and Technological Development. In his various roles, he was sensitive to the issue of modernising the administration through a process of digital transformation and information enhancement. As such, he actively initiated and piloted projects to digitise administrative procedures, particularly in the areas of foreign trade, economic control, compensation for essential foodstuffs and others. He is also the initiator of the ministry's strategy for open data and transparency in the extractive industries sector. Mr Mejri is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale d'Administration de Tunis and holds a Master's degree in Legal, Political and Social Sciences. A very active member of associations, Kais Mejri is a founder member and Chairman of the DSNAA Association: Data Science for North Africa and Arabia. He is also founder of the Tunisian Economic Intelligence Association (ATIE) and Vice-Chairman of the Forum of African Economic Intelligence Associations (FAAIE).
