Mr. Nafâa BACCARI is the Head of Solar Energy Department at ANME, he has 27 years of experience in Renewable Energy at ANME where he has held several managerial roles in PV and Wind. He is the President and co-founder of the Tunisian Wind Energy Association. Mr. BACCARI earned his Engineering degree in Energy from a Monastir Engineering School. Mr. BACCARI speaks Arabic, French and English.
Head of TETA /GIZ Program
Amin Chtioui est Directeur de Projet à la Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, responsable d’un projet visant l’accélération de la transition énergétique en Tunisie. Il dispose d’une expérience professionnelle de plus de 20 ans dans le secteur de l’énergie et des thématiques liées à la transition énergétique. M. Chtioui a précédemment travaillé comme Chef de Projets à STEG Energies Renouvelables, où il a réalisé plusieurs travaux pour le développement de projets solaires (PV et CSP), ainsi qu’à Siemens Tunisie où il était aussi Chef de Projets dans différents domaines connexes. Titulaire d’un diplôme d’Ingénieur de l’Institut National des Sciences Appliquées et de Technologie de Tunis, il a effectué un cursus Postgrade en Génie Electrique à l’Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
UNDP Coordinator
Titulaire d’un diplôme d’ingénieur, Mr Khaldi a accumulé plus de 10 ans d’expériences professionnelles en gestion de projets climat et énergie en partenariat avec des institutions gouvernementales, des partenaires et bailleurs de fonds bilatéraux et multilatéraux, le secteur privé et des organisations de la société civile. Après huit années de service au sein du Programme des Nations Unies pour le Développement, M. Khaldi a rejoint l’Observatoire du Sahara et du Sahel (OSS) en qualité d’expert en changement climatique ou Il a développé une expertise pointue dans les domaines du développement socio-économique et durable. Son parcours l’a amené à superviser divers projets en Tunisie et en Afrique axés sur l’atténuation et l’adaptation au changement climatique. Ces projets portaient notamment sur des thématiques telles que l’énergie durable, la sécurité alimentaire, le développement rural, la gestion de l’eau, ainsi que le renforcement des capacités des organisations communautaires. Monsieur Khaldi dispose d’une solide connaissance des enjeux du développement durable dans un contexte international marqué par le changement climatique et ceci à travers l’assistance technique à la mise en œuvre de l’Agenda 2030, et des recommandations de l’Accord de Paris.
Head of the Organizing Committee
Expert senior en communication & MICE avec une expérience de plus de 20 ans dans l’organisation des événements nationaux et internationaux, la supervision des campagnes de communication et les relations presse. Son passage à l’ANME (2004 – 2017) en tant que Chef de service Communication et Relations Publiques a contribué à développer des stratégies et des plans nationaux en matière de communication et sensibilisation à la maîtrise de l’énergie et changement climatique. Il a assuré des dizaines de mission en communication et MICE pour le compte de plusieurs organismes internationaux (GIZ, PNUD, GEF, MEDENER, SECO) et a contribué au succès de plusieurs événements nationaux et internationaux organisés en Tunisie. Outre ses compétences de communicant et d’event planner, Nebil JRIDET possède un bagage transverse en gestion de projet, gestion budgétaire et managériale. Il est actuellement consultant en communication et MICE à l’Agence Nationale pour la Maîtrise de l’Energie et chef du comité d’organisation de la première édition du Forum Méditerranéen de décarbonation DecarboMed.
International Relations Coordinator
Hassen EL AGREBI, holds a master’s degree in International Project Engineering and Human Resources and a master’s degree in Management of Organizations, option Finance. He has spent almost 24 years in the National Agency for Energy Conservation (ANME), where he worked in the field of Energy Management. Currently, he is a director of the International Cooperation, co-Director of the Mediterranean Centre of Renewable Energy (MEDREC) since 2016, as well as contact point of MEDENER and member of its Board of Directors. Furthermore, he is the Tunisian focal point, IRENA and RCREEE. He contributed to the launch of the African Association of the institutions in charge of energy management (AFRENER), active since November 2017 and to several cooperation projects with European and African institutional partners. He managed and coordinate a multitude of projects funded in the framework of international cooperation and participated in the organization of several international events in Tunisia.
General Coordinator
Mohamed Ali SAFI is currently in charge of the Industrial Energy Efficiency and Cogeneration Programme at ANME. He has been working for around 20 years in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energies, carbon assessment and the environment, and has acquired a wealth of experience in project management combined with fieldwork, particularly in the fields of energy management, climate change and the clean development mechanism. He also had the opportunity to contribute, as project manager, to the development of various projects, namely the SUNREF programme financed by AFD, the energy efficiency in industry and cogeneration credit line financed by the World Bank and the PEEI project financed by the Global Environment Facility GEF.

Mme Céline Moyroud est la Représentante Résidente du Programme des Nations Unies pour le Développement (PNUD) en Tunisie. Elle travaille pour le PNUD depuis 19 ans, et possède une expérience longue et diversifiée, travaillant aux niveaux mondial, régional et national, y compris plus récemment au Liban, où elle a occupé le poste de Représentante Résidente. Elle est titulaire d’une maîtrise en analyse des conflits internationaux et parle français, anglais et espagnol.

Mr. Samir MAJOUL is a businessman in the fruit and vegetable canning sector and held the position of Vice-President of UTICA before his election as head of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Crafts in 2018. He has climbed all the ranks within the employers’ federation: SME manager, social negotiator, president of the national trade union chamber, president of a federation, member of the national transitional council of UTICA where he became an advocate for strengthening the representation of regions and federations in the executive office of the employers’ federation. A former graduate of Paris Dauphine, Samir MAJOUL is a member of the board of directors of the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce. He is also Vice-President of the Mediterranean Association of Industrial Tomatoes (AMITOM).

Mr. Fathi HANCHI has been the Director General of the National Agency for Energy Management (ANME) since June 2020. A mechanical engineer by training, Fethi HANCHI held the position of Director of Energy Efficiency at ANME from 2011 to 2020, where he was responsible for the management and coordination of energy efficiency programs and activities in the tertiary, residential, construction and transport sectors. He actively participated in the various energy sector reform projects during the period 2000-2020. His portfolio includes the design and evaluation of most Tunisian programs and projects implemented in the energy field and also a national energy efficiency program in the public sector, local authorities and international and Mediterranean cooperation projects.
