Mr. Philippe Masset, who obtained his engineer degree in 1985, has managed energy efficiency for communities of the region Nord-Pas de Calais until 1992. Mid 1992, he was seconded to European Commission in Brussels – DG Energy till 1998 to implement accompanying energy technologies measures towards SMEs and regions. In 1998, he became head of unit for European and international projects and networks at the Energy Agency of Nord-Pas de Calais Regional Council. In 2001, he was recruited by ADEME, and he became in 2020 Director for European and international affairs.
